More about this range
How many nicotine shots do you need?
For a typical 50ml shortfill with room for one 10ml shot, adding one 18mg nic shot makes 60ml at approximately 3mg strength. Adding one 18mg shot to a 100ml shortfill makes 110ml at approximately 1.6mg; two shots in a bottle with enough space make 120ml at approximately 3mg.
Check the free space in the bottle before mixing. A 100ml shortfill supplied in a 120ml bottle has room for two 10ml shots, while a 50ml shortfill in a 60ml bottle has room for one.
Freebase, salt and ice shots
- Freebase nic shots are the standard choice for higher-VG shortfills.
- Salt shots use nicotine salts and generally feel smoother at the same strength.
- Ice shots add nicotine with a cooling finish, so they will change the flavour as well as the strength.
Match the VG/PG ratio of the shot to the liquid and device where possible. If you are unsure, our store teams can check the bottle and calculate the finished strength before you mix it.
Shortfills to use with nic shots
Browse 50ml shortfills, Ultimate Puff 100ml, Donut King 100ml and Fantasi 100ml e-liquid. Nic shots are intended for nicotine-free shortfills, not for topping up an already-nicotine-containing 10ml liquid.
